Alzheimer’s disease (AD) development has a direct relationship with Brain-insulin resistance. Central in the pathology of AD are beta-amyloid and tau proteins associated with cognitive decline in the hippocampus. Allium sativum L. has been shown to have a neuroprotective effect.
